New Lewes, DE office headed by Harris S. Marx

Simply-Phones, a telecom network and voice-over-IP (VOIP) provider is growing very rapidly and on May 1st opened an office in Lewes, DE on Nassau Commons Blvd.

Brian P, CEO of Simply-Phones said, “I hired Harris S. Marx as Sr. Vice President of Sales for the Mid-Atlantic Region because of his thirty years of successful telecom experience in the Region. He will be hiring 30 salespeople to cover the area, as well as administrative support people. In addition, he will be opening up a second office in Annapolis, MD to cover the area.”

Marx said, “the Simply-Phones business model is very simple. Whatever is the average cost per month over a three month period of a potential customer’s telephone bill, Simply-Phones will provide the same service for 20 % less with no contract required.

In addition, businesses can save more money by replacing their PBX or Key Telephone System equipment with a cloud based hosted system. The savings come from companies not having to maintain their equipment and not having their personnel manage the equipment. Plus hosted systems provide more features which help businesses become more efficient.”

Infonetics Research, an international market research and consulting firm serving the telecommunications industry since 1990, predicts the number of seats for hosted business VoIP and Unified Communications services are on track to more than double between 2012 and 2016. In the United States, it has been estimated that around 500,000 small and medium sized businesses currently use a hosted PBX service, representing an $800 million market. In a U.S. telecom service business of about $336 billion in annual revenue, hosted IP telephony represents only two-tenths of one percent of total industry revenue.

However, parallel estimates that the majority of the current in-house PBX and Key Telephone systems will migrate to hosted mechanisms over time, representing a $3.9 billion potential market for the hosted Telecom market. It is that market that Simply-Phones is gearing their expansion to capture.
